Weggis Vitznau Rigi
There are several picnic/barbecue areas in Weggis, Vitznau and on Mt. Rigi. Guests can stay and enjoy a barbecue in the most picturesque surroundings. The firewood is provided and occasionally there are tables and benches available.

This official Swiss family barbecue area is situated approximately 1 km above the village, 602 m a.s.l., on the Rigilehnenweg hiking trail between Weggis and Küssnacht. Easily accessible on foot/or by bicycle, parking available 100 m away.
Röhrli
This official "Swiss family" barbecue area is located 2.5 km from the village centre. Situated at the edge of the woods directly on the lakeside. Easily accessible on foot/or by bicycle, parking available 300 m away.

Next to the Vita Parcours exercise trail in Hertenstein.

Picnics are permitted at: the Oeko-Hotel Grubisbalm Rigi and the Restaurant Hinterbergen.

This barbecue area is located under shady trees. Tables and benches make it an ideal picnic stop. 5 minutes walk away from the Rigi Kaltbad station Känzeli. This barbecue area is located right next to the look out point, under shady trees, on the hiking trail. Tables and benches available.
Gratweg
Official Swiss family barbecue situated on the hiking trail between Känzeli and the station Staffelhöhe, approximately 30 minutes walk away from Rigi Kaltbad. Sunny location, benches available.
Rostock
The barbecue area is reached in about 15 minutes from the Rigi Staffel station, it is located on the hiking trail between Rigi Staffel and First Chäserenholz-Gruebi. This impressive, covered barbecue area is located below Rigi Kulm, approx. 15 minutes walk away. Tables and benches available.
