Max, the unique "Partyboat" on Lake Lucerne, for clubs, groups, weddings and more.
The Max was built in 1914 in the dockyard at Beckenried. Max was originally used to transport sand and gravel, as well as taking farmers with their heavily laden carts, Tuesdays and Saturdays to the market in Lucerne. In those days travelling by boat was far more comfortable, quicker and cheaper than by road.Today the Max is used as a Partyboat for groups, club excursions and can be hired privately.
