Weggis Vitznau Rigi was amongst the first of the holiday regions in Switzerland to be awarded the Wellness Destination quality label by the Swiss Tourism Federation.
The 2008 quality label Wellness Destination is awarded to resorts that offer extensive, top-quality wellness services. Whether it be a bike trail, a kneipp trail or organised walking: activity is our objective – the wellness philosophy is a way of life.
Six leading spa hotels provide excellent facilities and a wide range of beneficial treatments. In recent years the hotels, top service providers and the local village councils in Weggis and Vitznau have invested millions to further develop the infrastructure and facilities in the area of “wellbeing”.
Lucerne and the Lake Lucerne region offer everything you could possibly want in terms of wellness and active or passive recreation.
