Opening Mineral Bath & Spa

The 600 year-old bathing tradition at Rigi Kaltbad is continued by the Mineral Baths & Spa to be opened in July 2012.
The "Giardino Minerale" mineral baths were designed by the internationally renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta and lies underneath the village square. The entrance to the baths is through the prominent round tower which also serves as a connection to the mountain station of the aerial cableway.
The baths are a place of peace and relaxation. Awaiting the baths visitor are inner and outer baths with a unique view of the mountain scenery, a steam room, quiet rooms and a spa area with a crystal bath, infusion sauna and treatment rooms.
There is a direct connecting passage to the Mineral Baths & Spa from Hotel Rigi Kaltbad.
